It goes without saying that continuous improvement is a benchmark of what we do here for our seed-to-sale software at Brytemap. We’re all about finding ways to improve our suite of cannabis platforms and products, every day, in ways large and small.
This piece of news definitely falls under the category of “large,” as we have decided to migrate Brytemap’s product suite to Amazon Web Services, or AWS. According to Amazon, AWS “is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 165 fully featured services from data centers globally.”
In English, that means a platform for Brytemap that’s reliable, scalable and flexible; more computing power and thousands of tools at our disposal … at a fraction of the cost of our previous provider. We get more efficient, and you realize the benefits in the form of server capacity that adjusts on the fly to meet demand.
AWS meshes perfectly with our goal of continuous improvement as well, as our developers gain access to a suite of tools that will allow them to innovate continuously, with the ability to build and test software enhancements before they go into production.
And for all the technical features like scalability and server capacity, there’s a human touch as well. We’ll have dedicated account representatives and access to comprehensive documentation and how-to guides to help us better understand the technical and financial impact of our design decisions. As Brytemap grows, the AWS platform will grow with us … seamlessly.
We feel we’re in pretty good company as we join a roster of AWS clients that includes names like General Electric, BP, Expedia, Kellogg’s and Major League Baseball. And did we mention the “fraction of the cost” part?
We’re so excited to embark on this new chapter, which we fully expect to be a huge win for Brytemap and an even bigger one for our clients.
